SK and Heroic have picked up their second victory at StarSeries i-League Season 4 after defeating Cloud9 and TyLoo, respectively, both by 2-0 scorelines.
The rematch of the ELEAGUE Major semi-final kicked off on SK's map pick, Cache, with the Brazilians securing a quick 3-0 lead as CTs. In the first gun round, two fast openers from Timothy "autimatic" Ta forced SK to save, and, despite losing the following one, the North Americans rallied back to tie up the score at 4-4.
SK then got back in the game with double-kills from Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo and Fernando "fer" Alvarenga, setting themselves up for a 7-4 score, but Cloud9 were still able to break the Brazilians' economy. The half continued to be a back-and-forth affair, but SK strung the final two rounds together to secure a 9-6 half-time lead.
FalleN's men came out of the break with all guns blazing and won the initial three rounds fairly easily. Although Cloud9 then won the first gun round with a triple-kill from autimatic, SK replied with a fast B execution to break the North Americans' economy, and eventually close out the map after losing just one more round.
Starting out as Terrorists on their opponents' map pick, Inferno, SK yet again secured a 3-0 start after successfully executing B in the pistol. Still, with a very tight defense, Cloud9 quickly picked up the lead after buying up.
Surprisingly enough, it was on an extremely weak buy that SK would be able to get back to winning ways. In the 13th round, a 1v2 clutch from Marcelo "coldzera" David in a post-plant situation broke Cloud9's economy, setting the Brazilians up for a 10-5 half-time lead.
Ricardo "boltz" Prass opened up the action in the second half with a quad-kill, paving the way for SK to bag a 13-5 lead. Cloud9 still attempted a comeback by stringing two rounds together, but it was in vain as the Brazilians eventually ran out 16-7 victors.

On the secondary stream, TYLOO battled it out against their former coach Luis "peacemaker" Tadeu's newest team in a series that kicked off on Inferno. HEROIC began the match with a successful T-side pistol, but the Chinese side responded with a great triple-kill from Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand to restore parity.
HEROIC remained in control of the action, taking a 4-1 lead, but the rest of the half was keenly contested, with TYLOO heading into the break with a narrow 8-7 lead.
Following the second pistol, which HEROIC picked up, TYLOO were able to buy in the third round. After that, the Chinese team raised eyebrows with some dominant executions, winning six rounds in a row to secure a 14-9 lead.
But after calling a tactical pause, Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel's new squad tightened up their defense and won every remaining rounds to seal a hard-fought 16-14 success.
Next up was Train, HEROIC's map pick, where the Danish side got off to a flying start as Terrorists as they bagged six straight rounds. TYLOO did not want to throw in the towel, however, and responded with a run for their own to bring the deficit to a minimum.
Still, HEROIC kept racking up rounds until half-time to take a 10-5 lead into the break. Then, following a flawless CT pistol in the second half, the Danes quickly wrapped things up to go 2-1 in Kiev.
